👋Hello there, I’m Vishnu!

👨‍💻 I am a PhD student at the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, specializing in the intersection of computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.

Research Interest

🔬Under the mentorship of Prof. Sanjeev Kumar and Prof. Balasubramanian Raman, I am currently conducting research at the forefront of data science and AI. My primary work focuses on advancing computer vision techniques and its applications using deep learning and reinforcement learning.

Prior Experiences

đź“šMy academic journey began with a strong foundation in Applied Mathematics at IIT Mandi, which has equipped me with analytical skills crucial for tackling complex problems in the field of artificial intelligence.

Prior to pursuing my PhD, I gained valuable research experience at a DRDO lab, where I contributed to projects at the intersection of mathematics and technology. Additionally, I have a background in education, having taught mathematics at the upper secondary level. These experiences have honed my ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary environments.

Aspirations

I am driven by a deep interest in pushing the boundaries of AI and its applications. My goal is to continue exploring cutting-edge research in computer vision and deep learning, with a particular focus on developing algorithms and solutions that address real-world challenges. I am excited about the potential of AI to revolutionize industries and improve people’s lives, and I am eager to contribute to this transformative field.
